2026

We are excited to announce that the 2026 WIBN Conference will be hosted by NRK Sápmi in Norway, marking 80 years of Indigenous media leadership in Northern Europe. From the vibrant shores of Taiwan, where Indigenous voices gathered to share stories, insights, and creativity, we now journey north to Sápmi, the heart of Sámi culture and resilience.

In Norway, the conference will honour decades of Sámi broadcasting and storytelling while opening new pathways for collaboration among Indigenous content creators worldwide. Together, we will celebrate the strength of cultural heritage, explore innovative approaches to media, and continue to empower the next generation of Indigenous storytellers.

Join us for this milestone gathering of discovery, connection, and creativity at the 2026 WIBN Conference.

Stay tuned for more details or register now to be among the first to receive updates as we prepare for this landmark event in Norway.
