2025 WIBN Conference Taiwan. TITV (Taiwan Indigenous Television)
Taiwan Indigenous Television (TITV), in partnership with the World Indigenous Television Broadcasters Network (WITBN), proudly hosted the 2025 World Indigenous Content Conference, bringing together Indigenous media leaders, storytellers, and creators from across the globe.
The gathering celebrated cultural resilience and collaboration, with a strong emphasis on Indigenous perspectives shaping the future of media, broadcasting, and storytelling.
“This conference marked an important moment for Indigenous voices worldwide, highlighting our shared responsibility to safeguard languages, stories, and cultural expression while also innovating for future generations,” said a TITV representative.
The event featured a diverse lineup of keynote speakers, international panelists, and Indigenous leaders from across regions including the Pacific, the Americas, and Europe. Delegates engaged in workshops, discussions, and showcases that explored storytelling, digital media innovation, and cultural preservation.
Local Taiwanese Indigenous performers, artists, and cultural leaders enriched the experience, alongside international voices such as network executives, producers, and journalists from APTN (Canada), NRK Sápmi (Norway), NITV (Australia), and Whakaata Māori (New Zealand).
