National Indigenous Television (NITV) is Australia's premier Indigenous broadcaster, dedicated to sharing the voices, stories, and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As part of the SBS network, NITV delivers diverse programming—from news and documentaries to drama and youth content—created by and for Indigenous communities across Australia. The executive team drives NITV’s mission to foster understanding, representation, and cultural pride through powerful storytelling.

Aunty Rhoda

Elder in Residence SBS and NITV Bundjalung nation, Widjabul/Wieybal clan

Aunty Rhoda is an experienced, motivated, and versatile arts executive with a diverse range of international and national industry practice within commercial, community and non-profit organisations, festivals and events. The former Head of First Nations Programming at the Sydney Opera House, Aunty Rhoda is currently the Curator:

Rhanna Collins   

Head of Strategy, People and Operations, NITV 

Rhanna Collins is a proud Palawa Tasmanian Aboriginal woman residing on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country in Canberra. She became NITV’s Head of Strategy, People and Operations in 2023, one of several roles she has held at the channel since joining in 2014. She recently led the SBS network's coverage of the 2023 Indigenous Voice to Parliament Referendum as Referendum Unit Lead for SBS and NITV.

Adam Manovic

Head of Brand, Commercial and Digital, NITV Australia.

Adam Manovic is a Gooreng Gooreng and Kabi Kabi man living in Southeast Queensland, he currently holds the position of Head of Brand, Commercial and Digital, NITV.
Adam is an experienced television executive and radio producer with a long history of developing and producing 100s of hours of Indigenous content across multiple platforms.

Rebekah William

Manager of First Nations Engagement & Partnerships Corporate Affairs, NITV Australia.

Rebekah Williams- Holten (Bek) is a proud Dunghutti Gomeroi woman with a deep connection to her Dunghutti cultural heritage and the legacy of her ancestors. She honours the strong female role models in her family, especially her beloved grandmother, acknowledging that she stands on the shoulders of those who came before her.

Jason Oakley   

Head of Business, Relationships and Community Impact, NITV Australia.

Yamatji man, Jason Oakley, first joined NITV in 2023 as Senior Referendum Consultant and Network Advisor, and was later appointed Head of Commercial, Community Engagement & Government Relations. He became Acting General Manager for NITV in early 2025 and is responsible for overseeing NITV’s operations and editorial output.

Natalie Ahmat

Head of Indigenous News and Current Affairs, NITV Australia.

Natalie Ahmat is a proud Mudburra (Wave Hill, NT) and Wagadagam (Mabuiag Island, Torres Straits) woman, and a leading voice in Indigenous media. As the presenter of NITV News and Nula on SBS, she brings Indigenous perspectives to the forefront of national news. Since joining NITV’s founding news team in 2008, Natalie has reported from nearly 100 communities across Australia, covered major Indigenous events, and led January 26 special coverage for SBS and NITV.

Dena Curtis  

Head of Commissioning and Productions, NITV Australia.

Dena is a Warlpiri, Warrumungu, and Arrernte woman from Central Australia. She joined NITV in 2024, as the Head of Indigenous Commissions and Production, overseeing NITV’s original content slate. Dena’s background is Producing and Directing.

Carry Henry

Carrie Henry leads the Acquisitions and Programming Team, NITV, Australia.

Carrie Henry leads the Acquisitions and Programming Team with Anusha Duray. Carrie oversees programming and related operations with a key focus on developing content and programming plans that deliver to the Indigenous Content Strategy, the SBS Elevate RAP, as well as the growth of NITV audiences.
