NITV hosted the biennial gathering of the World Indigenous Television Broadcasters Network (WITBN) in its eighth year.

Tanya Orman, NITV's channel manager and chairwoman of WITBN, stated at the forum's opening that collaboration made everything possible for Indigenous broadcasters.

"When we first formed as a collective, we began exchanging content, which led to exchanging news and eventually to international co-productions," she said.

She expressed excitement about the possibilities, noting that the conference would mark the next phase for WITBN.
