Torill Beate Hansen is Head of Programming at NRK Sápmi, the Sámi division of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. She oversees resource management, talent development, recruitment, and the discovery of new Sámi voices and media profiles. Having reclaimed the Sámi language as an adult, and with deep roots in Sámi culture, Torill understands how crucial it is to grow up with both language and culture from birth.
