Monica Faloo Pettersen

Monica is the editorial manager of the NRK Sápmi content portfolio. She oversees that the diverse portfolio for the Sami audience aligns with NRKs strategy and the audience insight. A big part of her job involves developing, coordinating and overseeing content initiatives that strengthen Sami culture and language.
She has worked several years as a journalist in various newspapers and editorial offices. She holds a bachelor degree in journalism and has also pursued studies in american politics as well as Latin American literature. Being a part of NRK Sápmi for 10 years, Monica has studied northern sami and are deeply involved in the mission of creating excellent sami content in NRK.
