Anne Marja Hætta

Anne Marja is the Head of Podcasts and Radio at NRK Sápmi, the Sámi division of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. She leads the development of NRK’s audio content in all three Sámi languages, with a special focus on content for young Sámi audiences.
Originally from Máze in Kautokeino municipality, Anne Marja is a native North Sámi speaker and has worked at NRK Sápmi for over ten years. Her journalistic experience spans all platforms—she has worked as a reporter, hosted both radio and TV news shows, led major live broadcasts such as Sámi National Day, and served as a digital development lead.
She is passionate about making NRK Sápmis content a natural part of everyday life for children and youth, and about reflecting their identity as Sámi people in a modern society.
